It's actually about World Banks gold deposits. I think it was Switzerland. The scene where the fast cars were flying into buildings shows this and is actually according to simulations. Switzerland was strategically positioned "from that time on" so that it would be hard to steal the gold deposits--even if the thieves' ships are lightspeed!
