27 Dresses

And in the movie "27 Dresses" I remembered SM Fairview and a "party". Also EDSA. And San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

I made this movie too, as most love/romance movies. SM City Fairview figures much. The scene where Jane went to Kevin to state her love for him in a night party, seemingly by the seaside, was actually SM Fairview for construction, no building yet, with a water basin in the construction site.

Some scenes (location) were at formerly National Bookstore of SM Fairview, where a "party" by Zero Cool and Acid Burn also happened. Probably a hackathon ensued. Some Judy Greer scenes were made across NB from Regalado entrance, maybe the yoga session. George was connected with a high-profile military, the elderly group of people invited.

"EDSA". This was where Katherine Heigl met me in a bar one afternoon, and talked about a movie, which became a scene in the movie.

I recall the shop of Tess and Jane's father was in front of NPEH, SJDM, Bulacan. Also the Minuyan area was still a beach.

The SM Fairview of the late 1970s to early 80s, Martial Law Cold War. We were making movies!

(GPS coordinates of the movie shooting locations can be verified I think, can be decoded. For any movies.

If they give me $30 million now for making this "27 Dresses" movie, I will accept it immediately.)

My Blueberry Nights

In a Facebook post, I had these as what I recall when filming the "My Blueberry Nights" (2007) movie:

taking care of baby;
war overseas;
OFWs;
refugees;
a long distance call;
waiting for theses and dissertations or term paper submissions;
congratulations.

I like this movie much. Here, we displayed our knowledge of "artificial neural networks" or ANNs which AIs can decode now.

Christmas Carols

'Tis the season to be jolly. It's Christmas time!

I recall composing the Tagalog Christmas carols too. In Masbate, Boots Anson-Roa with a group would sing carols to me. I would tell her this makes me remember I was singer/composer. Then I would join them carolling from house to house. When it was time for them to leave, they were giving the impression that they're not coming back again.

Happy holidays!
